By discovering Another Planet Lighting, you`ve found another light form of illumination design and production, creating unique indoor and outdoor lighting that employs the ultimate in energy-efficient LED (Light Emitting Diode) technology. With LEDs consuming just one-tenth the power and lasting ten times longer than incandescent bulbs, artists from Another Planet are taking the world of ambient lighting to a new universe of design while working to decrease energy consumption. For the past 16 years, Another Planet has been recognized throughout the country for its innovative and custom-designed wall sconces and hanging pendants, which utilize incandescent, compact fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. Each lamp is hand-dyed and heat formed into a unique shape. Each sculpture, sconce and pendant is handcrafted from acrylic, blended with various metals - copper, steel or brass - and enhanced with patinas and/or bamboo to bring you an unprecedented work of art.
